  • Welcome to the blog!

    Looking forward to getting to know you... To get you started here's the quick version of me...
    There's my wonderful, should have been a chef, comedian of a husband Steve, my sweet boy, Jackson and the lively Livi;
    I've got an addiction to premium denim;
    Vanilla anything, especially a latte;
    I'm endlessly late and an eternal optimist, so there's hope for the former;
    Despise being cold: I leave the heat set to 25, permanently;
    Great music is a staple of my daily life;
    Somehow all of this randomness has turned me into a person who is close to obsessed with capturing interaction and love with my camera.

    Now grab a coffee, and have a look around.

Ridge at Manitou Wedding | Lesley and Dave | Parry Sound Photographer

The first time I met Lesley and Dave was a number of years ago, if I could describe them simply, it would be that they are that couple who is up for anything.  They’re ‘yes’ people in all aspects of life.  I have only spent a handful of days with them, but one of those days happen to be their wedding.  It was in September at  the Ridge at Manitou.

The smiles and tears of happiness were as abundenet as their infectious personalities.  We’re all better for every second we spend in their company.

To many more years of laughing through life together.

Here are a few of my favourite images.

Michael and Katie | Ancaster Wedding | Tamahacc Club Wedding | Hamilton Photographer

Mike and Katie had one of the most gorgeous tent weddings I have ever seen, sprinkled with lots of good luck.

It was one of those days that forecasted rain all day for the seven days preceding the wedding.  Well, just for the sake of good luck it rained, lets be honest it poured.  However, just in time for the ceremony, the clouds parted and the sun shone.

The rain didn’t seem to phase anyone, we shot right through it.  Keeping a smile on your face while circumstances are not necessarily ideal, seems like a great way to start a marriage.

Here are a few of my favourite images from the day.

Kirsten and Jayson | Collingwood Wedding Photographer | Collingwood Wedding Images |

Just a few shot weeks ago, a whole bunch of great people gathered in Collingwood to celebrate this beautiful family.  I arrived at the Westin in the village to meet Kirsten who was getting ready in her room.  She was fun, relaxed, behind schedule and not caring at all.  It set the tone for the rest of the day which was filled with love, light and laughter.

Just as we stepped outside for the first look, the rain started, with a smile Kirsten suggested some umbrellas.  From there we headed over to her parent’s home for an outdoor ceremony and beautiful tent wedding.

Enjoy a few of the images from their day.

The first look….

Lesley and Dave Engagement Session | Humber Bay Park | Toronto Engagement Session | Toronto Photographer

Poor Lesley is going to be laughing for the rest of her life … These two are nothing if not a party to be around.   We met at the water in Toronto to capture some Engagement Images and as I expected, it was mostly hilarious.

Can’t wait for their wedding next month at the Ridge at Manitou.

Kirsten, Jayson and the two little ones | Engagement Session | Hamilton Photographer

Kirsten and Jayson met with me a while ago and I immediately loved them.  They were fun and funny, easy to get along with – and clearly liked each other.   They just felt like a great fit (for me that is ;)!).   Then I met their two ridiculously adorable children.  I really like them now.   This weekend we’re celebrating their awesomeness with a wedding in Collingwood, I can hardly wait.

Jeff, Jamie and Easton | Ancaster Photographer | Knollwood Wedding

Jeff and Jamie and Easton – They made it official.  With a brunch wedding a Knollwood, just as unique as the three of them.

And while doing so, they looked pretty damn good.

Fyi. Don’t invite this kiddo to your wedding, he tends to steal the show ;)

Jeff patiently waiting for the first look with Jamie…
