I’ve known James for a long time. He is one of the kindest most considerate men I’ve ever met to be honest. Soft spoken, yet full of life. He introduced me to Adele a few years ago. I immediately liked her. We connected right away. She’s easy to love actually. Just as full of life. A yes person, always exciting to be around. It was very dark and raining during this entire session. Do they seem to care? Of course not, they’re yes people.
Looking forward to enjoying life with them in the future.

A lot of rain…..and an umbrella.
So beautiful, so natural
Ed and Emma. Just look at them.
In love.
I loved Ed before I met him, just from the way Emma spoke of him.
Then I met him. He looks at her with affection in his eyes. That same affection that is heard in her words. They’ve been together a long time. Since they were young. Emma moved across the country to live with Ed and years later is flying to another country to marry Ed.
I can’t wait to celebrate these two on the beaches of Mexico in a few short months.

These forty little toes turned One a few weeks ago.
We did a lifestyle session to celebrate a whole year of these sweet babies.
Mike and Angela who you’ll remember from their newborn session – Are just as relaxed, just as confident, and if it’s possible, even more in love with these babies a year later.

Ainsley comes from a family of creatives. Peter a family of entertainers.
Peter runs on Kindness. Ainsley on Love.
This past weekend we celebrated their life together at the Riverbend Inn – Niagara-on-the-Lake with family. I leave out friends because these two are exceptionally good at making everyone feel like family.
Certainly, the most personalized and entertaining reception I’ve attended.
Duelling pianos played throughout the dinner and reception. Later those Short boys performed a musical speech and lit up the piano.
Virginia. Mike. Plus two, soon to be three littles.
Those days where the sun hides behind the clouds the entire day and the air is heavy with the smell of rain. We’ll go ahead anyway and see what we can get before it starts. Perfect light prevails.
Those days. Matched with two parents loving their children and all the things that make them special. One of my favourite family sessions of the year.
A family of four, presently awaiting the newest addition to their family. Another child to love this Spring.
This moment of time. Just the four of them.
Clearly they know how to love their babies well.
Awaiting a life change. Chris and Dana, who you’ll remember, were married last summer. This summer, another life change. A sweet one coming their way.
