When I met with Jenn and Dallas for their Engagement Session, Jenn told me that everyone always looked like they were having the time of their lives during my sessions. I told her not to worry about it — We’d just hang out and I’d make sure they had a great time.
Turns out, I really didn’t have to do too much coaching here. These two easily have the time of their lives in each other’s company. Clearly. They met three years ago, both teachers. After Dallas asked Jenn Friday after Friday what her plans were for the weekend, to which, regardless of her plans, she said “nothing”…. In hopes he’d pick up on the fact that she might want to do something with him. Eventually, he caught the vibe and worked up the courage to ask her out on a date. For a hike. In the conservation area he had visited daily as a child. He asked her if she would ‘be his girlfriend’. Three years later. They’ve got a dog. A house. A life together.
We returned to that very conservation are for their Engagement images. Jenn said to me that she can recall thinking, on their first date, what a beautiful spot it would be for an Engagement Session. It’s simply fitting that we returned.
After this shoot, I basically want the year to hurry up in anticipation for their wedding. I had too many favourites to choose for the blog. Here are a few of them.
